  April 23, 2020 - Road tar and tobacco - I would have thought this was a Bordeaux except for the bright acidity and cherry fruit and enough tannins to work with a pan-fried rib-eye. I felt like I was in a small town in Spain.
  I saw it in the cellar and figured it was way past peak. Wrong. It was close to peak.
  An underrated wine.
