April 24, 2020 - Just keeps getting better. I have such a man crush on Torrin right now. The accessible Saxum IMHO.

4/26/20, 7:00 AM - Big Torrin fan here too. My wife and I both love our Torrin wines. If you haven’t seen it, Torrin just started a YouTube channel. Scott and Viquel taste the 2017 spring release and my wife and I had to try the Le Devior after watching it. The link is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbwQi2B9-jI1m9rW5pCCu3w

5/5/20, 1:40 PM - Tyler, I love Alban and most Cali Syrah's. I think there are great values vs cabs. The only issue I have with Alban is it is much more expensive.

Here are some great values in Syrah 1) Torrin Akasha $85.00, Quivet Kenefick Ranch, 97pts, $45, Bedrock Griffens Lair $42, Bedrock Weill a Way $55.00, Carlisle James Berry $50.00, Carlisle Papa's Block $38.00, Myriad Sangiacomo $45.00, and Booker $100. I like these a lot more than the Washington syrah's including Cayuse. Although the absolute best Syrah is the Bedrock Exposition Weill ones that they don't make now. I bought them for $60 and they now go for over $200

5/5/20, 1:46 PM - Tyler, I just looked at your holdings of Syrah, nice! I guess I did not have to make any suggestions on Syrah. It looks like you agree that the best wines in Cali are now Syrah's.

5/5/20, 2:16 PM - Thanks for the comments michigan dogs - Syrah is where it's right now! Especially central coast. I too am burnt out on the Washington syrahs. Not worth chasing. Here's a great name for you to check out - Andremily. Check out the story. Truly an amazing Syrah and I am looking forward to their blend. Thanks for your suggestions.
