  May 6, 2020 - Lots of deep red fruit here— raspberry, cherry, and a little strawberry with some spice and a little oak on the alluring nose. Ripe fruit on the palate too, but with a slight tartness as well. Much more forward, with a fairly quick loss of flavors after the wine is down your throat. Slight minerality on the finish. It’s a nice wine that could be something more if it had an enveloping mouth feel and lasting finish. Still, a real nice effort and showing from Temecula. QPR not great, but that’s true of most wines from this region anymore. 87-88 pts.
