  May 8, 2020 - Surprisingly medium+ in body, not the massive bomb the merlots typically are. Considerable oak but it wears it well. Not for the ultra traditional palate but that’s not necessarily a criticism. Nice zip / acidity and not overly tannic. Will probably be pretty special in 10-15 years. Not a crime or a shame to open today if you give it a few hours in a decanter.
