  May 12, 2020 - This Malbec Cabernet blend from Mendoza is a joint venture between Domaines Barons de Rothschild and Nicolás Catena. It is a blend of 67% Malbec and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon.
  I don't seem to purchase many red blends but this wine blew me away.
  Due to the higher concentration of Malbec this wine had intense fruit aromas and flavors of dark cherries and blackberries with hints of spice. Medium+ body, medium acidity a medium+ tannins.
  
  The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, cherry and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry, cherry, oak and black pepper. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
