June 6, 2020 - From the winery - For centuries Sangiovese has been held as Italy’s premier red grape varietal. The great showman of Tuscan viticulture, Sangiovese is known for world-renowned wines such as Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Noble di Montepulciano. In the 1970’s a new class of wines known in the trade as “Super Tuscans” emerged. Many of these wines became cult wines. The wine is made in the style of the “Super Tuscans” with Cabernet Sauvignon (a French - non native Italian grape varietal) blended in to add depth and complexity to this beautiful Italian stallion.

Our love affair with Tuscany is portrayed in this elegant yet bold red wine. Enjoy at the end of a long hard day, and let this wine lift your spirit across the Italian landscape to Tuscan Nights...

Intense bright red cherry flavors indicative of classic Italian Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. Dark cherry and black current from the Cabernet Sauvignon blended within add depth and body to this elegant Super Tuscan. A polished mouth feel with smooth silky tannins, this wine illustrates the highest level of class and sophistication.
