The great showman of Tuscan viticulture, Sangiovese is known for world-renowned wines such as Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Noble di Montepulciano. In the 1970’s a new class of wines known in the trade as “Super Tuscans” emerged. Many of these wines became cult wines. The wine is made in the style of the “Super Tuscans” with Cabernet Sauvignon (a French - non native Italian grape varietal) blended in to add depth and complexity to this beautiful Italian stallion.
