  June 7, 2020 - Medium Ruby. On the nose aromas of medium intensity- red cherries, red plums, vanilla, toast, mushroom, violets. On the palate the wine is dry with med (+) acidity, medium fine tannins, medium alcohol, medium body. The palate demonstrates medium intensity flavors of red cherries, red plums, vanilla, toast, mushroom, violets but also some green notes, and some pyrazines. The finish is medium (+) and pleasant, primarily red fruit. The wine is very good demonstrating balance of the alcohol and tannins, complexity (red fruits, floral, oak notes, savory) and length on the finish. The wine is drinking well now but can also sit another 3-5 yrs. A favorite.
