  June 20, 2020 - This is my first tasting of Tablas Creek wines. I am a huge Rhone fan and have been very excited to try their wines. They did not disappoint. the 2014 roussanne is golden yellow with a medium to heavy body. On first sip it briefly reminded me of a sauternes but not as sweet. I think it's the honey notes I'm getting. On the backend there is some wet stone minerality that lingers on the finish, which I really like. I will certainly be looking to try many more wines from Tablas Creek.
