June 21, 2020 - Bien. RQP discutable.

6/21/20, 8:54 PM - This wine does better with age and the '17 is bit different and better than the '18 in my opinion. Thanks for your notes!

6/22/20, 5:46 AM - Thanks! I'll try to get my hands on some 2017 to compare. My other 2018s will definitely spend a little time in the dark! Cheers.

6/22/20, 6:39 AM - Phil, both the chards and the pinots from this producer due quite well with time. Unfortunately, here in the States everybody wants to drink everything right away!

6/22/20, 5:46 PM - Thanks for the pointer! It's the same here in Canada. Most people buy to drink not to hold. It's not the same wine culture as the old continent.

6/22/20, 6:06 PM - Phil, I was fortunate to visit this property in March '19 and taste about 8-9 vintages of their pinots and chards. I found there to be a definite uniqueness to each vineyard and each vintage. They are all well made but some years are definitely more homeruns than others. If you like pinots, give theirs a try, too. Enjoy, my friend!
