June 27, 2020 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of pomegranate, hibiscus, earthy spices, pine forest, hints of allspice. Dense and medium bodied, with fig driven fruit and sandalwood, tea and floral spice depth. Dry and rough grainy tannins at first, gaining some volume and roundness with air. Moderate acidity, juicy depth on the finish. Good flavor development, grainy and unyielding structurally at first, recommend a decant. Tough to read the potential: 89-90.
