July 3, 2020 - My first time trying this wine where I actually felt that it was ready to drink - finally, 10 years after the vintage.
This is a medium-bodied wine ( so perhaps best considered full-bodied for a Sancerre), and has an expansive feel on the palate. There is almost a honeyed note on the nose, with an underlying grassiness. Really lovely - too bad it took so long to round into shape, as I unfortunately drank most of my bottles while the wine was still “too young”.1 person found this helpful 556 views

7/3/20, 2:03 PM - Bob-My experience mirrors yours. The 2010 Boulay wines are incredibly structured, unusually age worthy Sancerres. I feel fortunate to have a few bottles left and am in no rush to try them.
