  July 12, 2020 - Medium full body, quite a vibrant purple colour. The nose is a mass of berries, black currant through cherry and raspberry, violets lifts it up a touch and smokiness pulls it down. The palate feels heavier and ripe, but has plenty of acid to give it some balance. There’s flashes of red fruit among the black currant, liquorice and chocolate, still some medium grain tannins remain on the tip of the tongue. Nice finish.
