  July 13, 2020 - Nice 2009 Haut-Medoc with mushroom, earth, tobacco, and dark purple fruits. The musty notes were subtle but present throughout the evening, though not in an unpleasant way. For an inexpensive bottle that had been put away and forgotten about for several years - it was a happy rediscovery. Pair with flavorful cheeses or red meats.
