  July 17, 2020 - Social distancing blind tasting: Medium copper color. An interesting mix of racy, spicy, complex aromas: watermelon rind, rosemary, mint, candle wax, cherry jam and candied orange peel. The palate shows briskness and tartness but a gorgeous depth of texture, with this waxy but refined mouthfeel. Red apple, watermelon and juicy red cherry fruit is pure and lively, but backed with complex cheese rind, tobacco, mint, oregano, some clay and read rose bush notes. So fresh, a long ager. So, I tasted this blind and knew it immediately, I just didn't know what vintage it was. This one is one to age, as it is gorgeous right now but tons to unpack. The next day it was crazy complex. Lovely wine.

  7/18/20, 8:53 AM - Agreed, this is an outstanding note on a killer wine! I just poured a glass via Coravin the other day and felt exactly the same about the freshness. Really glad I checked in on one but they should age well for a long time.
