  August 1, 2020 - This wine is massive! I'm on day two and the wine is still going strong. It needs at least another 2 years to soften the oak and mature the tannins. With that said, I fear the fruit will not last stand up to the 15.5% alc. The wine is already starting to show signs of alcohol dominance. Today, the wine profile is of sweet oak, vanilla bean, espresso and some chocolate notes. Having steak tonight and I believe the wine will pair very well with the meal.
