  August 3, 2020 - Brought this to a wine dinner at Yummy Palace with my wine mates. Theme of the night: Wines that start with A.
  
  Brooding purple in colour with a dusty flint nose. On the palate the dried herbs, crushed spices and minerals were surprising, with some red fruits coupled with lead and tobacco.
  
  Had gotten used to the notion that Malbecs are powerful and big and bold; this style of Malbec certainly caught the dinner party by surprise.
