  August 5, 2020 - Decanted one hour before serving, this came across as introverted and young, but with an excellent pedigree and structure. “Bright” is the word that best describes the wine on night one, with its vivid and transparent color; its aromas of raspberry, cherry, cranberry, hints of rose and sweet citrus; and its lip-smacking flavors, with a hint of cola. The wine is more about body, succulence and flavor than it is about aromas. On night two the wine was a bit bigger, sweeter and more aromatic, but still with lip-smacking acidity; my conclusion is that I opened it about five years too soon! Drink 2024 to 2030. Very good QPR at $25. 90 today, 92+ in 2025.
