August 8, 2020 - Platinum in the glass.

Nose: Grapefruit zest, lemon/lime, bit of lemongrass.

Mouth: Pure grapefruit peel, white pear, and juiced orange lead a light midpalate of honeysuckle flower and light lemongrass. Finish introduces new notes of wet slate and a bit of grated ginger, adding good length and lip-smacking character to the ending.

Overall: Delicate in profile, but silken, and still with good crispness throughout. Surprisingly persistent. The little flourishes on the finish are a nice surprise from what was expected. A pretty insane value at $9. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now - 2021.

    91.

8/12/20, 4:32 PM - I quite enjoyed reading your THOROUGHLY descriptive TN! :) While I wasn't a fan of their '17 regardless of price, perhaps I might be with this vintage? ;) [FYI, *should* you be interested, I just uploaded specific info for this vintage, including acclaim, which can be accessed via the CellarTracker Article link (lower lft)].
