  August 11, 2020 - A solid wine at a good price point. But for the love of goodness why does the bottle weigh more than the wine itself?
  
  Opened and decanted for 30 minutes. Typical dark purple in color with little clarity. Nose of red cherry, black fruits and vanilla.
  
  The palate was fairly balanced with a spike in acidity. Medium+ body and loads of jammy fruits and oak imparted spices including vanilla. A fairly simple wine that was great with pizza. Drinking nicely and not a complex wine but a great mid week bottle.
