August 14, 2020 - No rating on this bottle because the wine isn't ready for a pop and pour. Closed and disjointed. What flavors were present were heavy towards earth, herbs, and spice over fruit, but this wine needs a decent decant if opening now. Hold.

8/15/20, 8:49 AM - For future reference or for anyone else, if you want to open a bottle of this soon, I recommend opening the bottle a day in advance (I believe this is what they do at the winery). It's showing very well if you do this and, like all of the Torrin '17s I've had so far, is more approachable than the '16 was on release.

8/15/20, 9:44 AM - That's a good idea, JRockEsq. It really needed air. I've found the Torrin Le Devoir to be excellent, even on a PnP. The Banshee wasn't ready and would have benefited from a nice decant or by trying your suggestion.
