  August 19, 2020 - A warmer year has taken some of the subtlety and replaced it with power. The nose is intoxicating with crushed cranberries, raspberry, blueberry and cherry. There’s a touch of iron, and spice in the background. On the palate there’s plenty of fruit that is not quite in harmony with the moderate acidity. Mild tannin frames this well but the wine need a bit more integration. Hold for another 3-5 years and revisit. I don’t doubt this will become a real beauty down the line.
