August 29, 2020 - If headed out to Amador, you HAVE to stop by Tanis for a tasting. This is a TERRIFIC family winery, and a wonderfully talented and friendly family. The art on the walls was fantastic, the live piano music and singing was incredible, and the WINES! Lots of time in the barrel, beautifully crafted, and true to each varietal we tasted. nice fruit, not too much oak, vanilla, a touch of acidity. It's all there. Tanis and Scott Harvey are your two BEST stops in Amador. 91+ pts.
