  September 9, 2020 - Found this little gem hidden in a forgotten corner of the cellar. Remarkably for such an inexpensive wine, and despite its 15 years, it is still in very good shape. It has a transparent, amber and cranberry color, a gentle fizz, lightly floral aromatics, and gentle, slightly sweet flavors. In Piedmont they really know how to make low-alcohol, slightly-sweet wines!
  
  I rated this an 88 on night one. 48 hours later, I have been “blown away” by the wine’s transformation and so I have edited my note and revised the rating. It is now mostly amber, with cranberry highlights, and much sweeter. Also, alongside this sweetess the wine’s inherent acidty privides a firm and refreshing foil. Tonight it was a big hit after dinner. Outstanding QPR.
