  A rather youthful bright lemon-yellow colour.
  
  Somewhat restrained nose with hints of lemon and perhaps some hay. This in real contrast to the medium-bodied palate, which has great complexity and indeed reasonable intensity. Honey and Grapefruit are initially to the fore, with oatmeal, honey and lemon and some faint butter coming through on the reasonably persistent finish that also has some faint bitterness. Good refreshing acidity.
  
  A relatively inexpensive wine, and at 9 years from vintage in half bottle format, one that felt a minor gamble, but is still going very strong indeed and no rush needed to drink up. It feels like it should do 5-10 years more.
