September 15, 2020 - There is a reason this "entry level" wine is killing it in these notes. It's serious and structured and offers the perfect italian experience. It does have the roses and cherry but I found it to be darker and more tannic than one might expect. Medicinal and dark cherry but with the acid and tannins to back it up. Obviously too young but I found it at a local liquor store for $40 so I can revisit. Surprised the tariffs didnt mess this all up. Even better than the 2015 which was also excellent.
