  September 24, 2020 - VTS fill. Cork coloured the along its whole length, but extracted in one piece. Little sediment. Wide tawny margin on decanting with fabulous, classic Pauillac scents. First sip after decanting, sweet & light, tannins completely subsumed, lovely fresh acidity. Medium length, but that freshness persists wonderfully across the palate. Very classy, but this bottle is in the 'Drink Up' phase of it's life... 93 points.
  ...Or so I thought.
  Two hours in the decanter and everything has been turned up to 11. The previously inconspicuous tannins have firmed up beautifully, complementing the fresh acidity and fabulously intense flavours across the whole palate. Ethereal weightlessness. Tiny sips are enough to fill the senses.
  Possibly the most beautiful wine I have ever had. 97 points
