September 25, 2020 - PnD let air for 1hr.
Clear medium ruby.
Clean. Medium(+) intensity with aromas of plum cassis sage cedar and vanilla.
Dry. Medium acidity. Medium(+) alcohol. Medium(+) tannins. Medium(+) body. Medium(+) intensity with flavours of blackberry cassis sage dark chocolate and cedar.
Medium(+) fruit cake finish. Very good. Drink now suitable for further ageing. Awesome gusty Merlot big step up from their regular bottling. Could pass for a quality St. Emilion with some B.C. sage to give it away.581 views

10/4/20, 5:40 PM - Good note. I had the 2014 a few weeks ago and it was merely okay. Nice, not wow. Maybe I'll give the 2017 a try.

10/8/20, 10:36 PM - Thanks for the feedback. We had a nice tasting and lunch at the winery. I am sensitive to un-balanced oak. I think they have gotten a better handle on their elevage.
