  October 3, 2020 - Bottle: perfect fill. perfect cork soaked 1/16th inch. Never see that on a wine this old.
  Color: Beautiful deep purple to ruby rim. Nice sheen and sparkle.
  Nose: Smoke, earth, tobacco, and herbs frame plums and cherries.
  Palate: A bit thin but complex and well balanced with some residual tannin in the finish. Flavors echo the nose.
  Overall: I was apprehensive about this after reading the other reviews but this one hit a triple. I got no bell pepper notes and the wine was superb with roast chicken.
