  October 6, 2020 - (Raiding the Cellar With Friends) After reviewing my tasting ones on this wine from 2014, it’s as if it had been frozen in time. My notes from that year say, “Golden yellow . . . It's still drinking very well, although the window on this one is closing quickly. Antique-shop-tinged bouquet with generous creme-brulet and carmel flavors that are rescued by equally generous citrus notes, mostly grapefruit, lemon pith and lime zest. Finishes with a hint of Gewurtztraminer spice and almond dust. Delicious. But time to drink up.” Clearly this offering had greater longevity than I had anticipated. Still Outstanding.
