    October 12, 2020 - Appearance:
Intensity: Deep, Color: Purple, Rim: Lighter, Viscosity: Low, Legs: Staining.

    Nose:
Intensity: Medium(+), Aromas of: Cardamon, Ripe Plum, Black Cherry, Red Cherry, Tabacco, Smoke, Licorice, Charred wood, Dark Chocolate, Bay Leaf,
    Development: Developed

    Palate:
Sweetness: Dry, Acidity: High(stimulating), Tannins: Medium(-) (fine-structured), Alcohol: Medium, Body: Full, Flavor intensity: Medium(-), Aromas of: Tart Cherry, Charred wood, Red Plum, Ceder, Licorice, Smoke, Charred wood, and Prune Finish: Short

In conclusion: When Blind-tasted the nose revealed the Major component of Malbec (90%) from a cool climate, similarly the distinct hint of Cardamom and Liquorice aromas revealed the presence of Tannat (5%). More noticeable on the palate at first was the Merlot (5%). Generally a pleasant Cahors blend, but a noticeable vintage variation to 2015.
