4/1/21, 12:30 PM - INTERESTING! .. these wines should be good at least for 15 years .. are you sure it was not flawed for the cork weakness .. I am not related to any sales of this .. just curious what do you do when an old bottle goes bad .. should we bring it back and fight for responsibilities !? ahahahah
    interesting no?
    lovely!

6/5/21, 1:37 PM - I don't recall anything wrong with the cork but as my cellar does not have ideal conditions I generally don't try to return something that goes bad. Wines usually age a little faster given that I don't have a cooling system or anything. That said I thought Keenan would last a bit longer, but '11 wasn't a great year so that could also be a factor. Next time I'll just drink sooner:)

6/5/21, 2:46 PM - HI MORSIE! YOU are a nice man! ... I hope more luck for you!!
Funny enough is that last night I opened a bottle of "Barons" 2012 because I was trying to finish them before it is too late.
I bought few bottles maybe 20 months ago or so .. and I loved it at first and after few month I bought another 4 or 5 bottles! ... BUT a month or so ago, I drunk one bottle and it was starting to be bitter at the finish line of taste!! ... therefore because I thought it was ready to die, I opened in this latest month a couple more and they were the same! Damned!

BUT!!! ahahaha LAST NIGHT I opened another one at it was perfect!
    CMON!! ahahah a tease!?! ...
OR maybe THE first batch was a good one and the second one instead a little COOKED somehow?? .. it is the only explanation I can have!

You are so right and HONEST to say the way we treat the bottle as it is a strong variable .. I am lucky being at southbay beach in LA where weather is pretty steady and also have many cellars ! ..
but still LUCK is LUCK! ahahah
& !! WHO PAYS FOR IT !?!? ahahahahh
    love, yours
