  October 24, 2020 - Vintage 2010 Tasting; 10/24/2020-10/25/2020 (Bronte, Sydney): very dark, black
  deeply fragrant pure cassis, a hint of tar
  pure dark berries, just a hint of tobacco leaf, soft and refined, very long, tannins present but very fine, has many years ahead of it, not much development yet, impressive

  I just had a couple of quick questions - did you decant the wine before consumption (and, if yes, for how long) and how was the palate weight - was it quite heavy or did it have a sense of elegance would you say?

  10/26/20, 1:09 AM - Hi Chatters, no didn't decant but it did get an hour in the glass. Palate weight was less heavy than I might have anticipated, barely any heavier than the Black Label we had alongside, hardly noticeable. I was actually quite impressed by its refinement.
