  October 25, 2020 - This was truly something to behold. So refined. So delicate. Yet so bold as to stand up to a bolognese. Giorgio, this is one of your better offerings. Why I am the first to review this beauty is beyond me. Certainly this wine will stand up for years to come, but 7 years in, those who have it should start enjoying this wonderful Barbaresco.

  3/13/21, 9:56 PM - How would you compare the starderi with his other two single vineyard barbarescos? Many say his wines are too oaky relative to other Italian producers?

  3/16/21, 10:24 AM - I am one that gets turned off by overly oaked wines. I have found none of La Spinetta's to be that. I genuinely find these wines to be well made and in the right zone of what I feel is a great Barbaresco. In other words, no manipulation needed.
