November 18, 2020 - Deep garnet color turning violet orange rust toward the rim with a reflective edge. The nose is a bit funky with saddle leather, mushrooms, shoe cabinet and damp garage. The palate is full-bodied, with a velvety texture and medium acidity to balance the ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum core. Secondary flavors of cola, hanged meat, and vanilla from toasted oak glide through the long, black peppery finish. Drink now until 2030. 92+

I usually like to see the wine evolve in the glass as well as what’s left in the bottle. So if I don’t have any recommendation to decant, for me, it’s good to go. But 30 minutes should be enough not to over oxidize.
