  November 25, 2020 - Pale gold. On the nose aromas of medium intensity - citron, lemon, golden apple, lanolin, wet stones. On the palate the wine is dry with medium + acidity, high alcohol, medium + body, and medium + flavors of citron, lemon, golden apple, lanolin, wet stones, white peach, peach pit. The finish is medium + with some phenolic bitterness. There is a waxy texture to the wine. The wine is very good demonstrating medium intensity on the nose rising to medium plus on the palate. There is complexity with tree fruit, stone fruit, citrus, mineral and lanolin. The fruit nature is balanced by the acidity and alcohol. However, the phenolic bitterness on the finish is a bit offputting. A lovely rich wine for this holiday weekend.
