November 29, 2020 - Dark brick ruby. Muted aromas of red berries, licorice, brown sauce, dark florals and camphor/menthol. A medium bodied alate mostly shows savory elements of mushroom/grilled meat, crushed red fruits, medium acidity, no tannins and a drying licorice and tobacco tinged finish.

Hope you’re well. Ping me if you make you’re way up here after COVID is over. We should open some bottles.

12/2/20, 8:20 AM - Jim: Good to hear from you. My insistence on drinking wines with more age on them has led to a few notable high end white burg, and CDP disappointments. We will definitely need to open some wines when I am up there next. After red and white Burgs, the next highest quantities in my cellar are Barolos/Barbarescos!
