  The first funky hit on the palate is something sour I can’t place, something I don’t recognize. That flavor/funk quickly fades, making way for your traditional SB flavors, with just a tinge of the funk holding on thru the finish. Good acidity, average finish, a $10 wine.
  
  Think this might be my first Chilean SB and it’s prompting me to try a higher rated, more expensive offering.

  Edit - go figure, this actually pairs nicely with a spicy chicken, tortilla soup.
