December 13, 2020 - Striking in its power and its balance. Opens with garrigue, spice and crushed black fruits in the nose and then broadens on the palate to reveal plum pit, black cherry, camphor, cinnamon and nutmeg. A blast in the finish, but it never feels overblown. A beautiful rendition of the Misfit with many years still ahead of it. Drink now to 2030. Outstanding.

"If a bowl of dark cherries, some apple-wood bacon sizzling in your campsite pan in the Big Sur redwoods at 7 in the morning, a slice of grilled olive bread, and the viscosity of Ethiopian coffee steeped in a French Press for about 10 minutes all sound like good things, then this has your name on it." 😂😂😂 -
