We double-decanted and checked back in at 12 hours (cellar temperature) and didn't care for it. At 36 hours (spent 24 hours at room temperature after the first 12 ) it was still high-toned, though more drinkable. I think that this might be a wine that needs another decade to come back into a pleasant drinking window.
