December 15, 2008 - This wine did indeed open up in the glass. Dark plum and earthy on the nose, a fairly rich mouth feel. I am not familiar enough with the terrior of Morey-St Denis to judge how representative this wine is. It definitely had considerable fruit, mild tannins and acidity. A very approachable and easy to drink wine.
