  December 18, 2008 - 12/17/08: Nice red color but not as deep as you would expect in a late harvest zin, and this theme continues throughout. Nice nose of prunes, dried cherries, chocolate and vanilla, but not a lot of whumph. The flavors are dried fruits, vanilla, cedar, pepper and anise. The wine is medium bodied with good balance but not a lot of structure or anything really going on. The finish is long and pleasant and fruity.
