  December 18, 2008 - Too dark in the restaurant to see the color well. Cork in great condition. Young at heart even after a good half hour in a decanter with some fairly vigorous swirling. Lovely aromas and flavors of coffee, plum and graphite. Tannins smoothed out but still present, leaving an impression much more of elegance than power at age 22. I don't think this is for the ages but well stored should easily see another 5-8 years.
