December 22, 2008 - I loved the 2001 Rutherford which I recently drank and was looking forward to the 2000. Unfortunately the 2000 was no where near the 2001 version. This wine had a decent nose, but lacked the expressive flavors of the 2001 and other BV Rutherford vintages. I think 2000 was truly not a very good year in Napa Cabernets. I would not recommend this wine, it is definitely past it's prime. I do not think the 2000 Napa Cabs were that age worthy. Check out the 1999 or 2001 version instead.
