January 24, 2021 - Sunday evening in Singapore. Short 30 min decant, pairing it with a selection of Italian cheeses. Deep ruby Color. Complex nose with lots of dark fruit like black cherries, smoke, pepper, mushroom, forest floor and a hint of peppermint. Med acidity, full body, high alcohol, Med+ flavor intensity, Med tannins, Med+ finish. Balanced and structured wine, I am capturing a bit of green capsicum and mint, and still some acidity so I think this deserves a couple more years. I like the roundness and fruitiness combined with all the tertiary noted I picked up earlier. Nice wine and will open the next one in a year.

1/26/21, 9:35 PM - Welcome. To err on the side of caution I would say a couple of hours of decanting is recommended at this stage.
