After about 3 hours decanting the nose was red fruits (think raspberry and strawberry), violets, peonies, and earth. The palate has red fruits starts silky and but quickly the acid and tannin make an attack starting with acid from from the tip of tongue and the tannins rising from the bottom of the cheeks.
