  February 1, 2021 - Seghesio never disappoints and the Old Vine is a benchmark for them. While jammy is accurate, it often described over-extracted, flabby fruit bombs. Not the case here. There's tannin and balance to the blackberry fruit and it's just a wonderful wine. I prefer it with age, and at 6 years old it's just getting to the nicer stage IMO.
