February 9, 2021 - Intense and alluring nose of roses, earthy spice, lavender and red fruit. Palate still youthful in fruit and structure but certainly entering a period of very fine drinking. The beautiful floral nose speaks well of Verduno but the structure and depth I think reflect the vintage as well. Nicely balanced, delicious, a great complement to food. Classic Barolo, will be excellent for decades.
