  February 9, 2021 - Not even a talented winemaker like Tegan Passalacqua can elevate the Carignane varietal beyond its historical role as a grape blended with Grenache. Non-existent nose, purple color, flat and slightly sour. Why bother drinking 100% Carignane? Meh.

  2/10/21, 5:05 AM - At such odds with all of the notes from old vine Carignan wines that I have tasted. Most have been quite full and deep, moderately complex, and above all enjoyable at a minimum. I’d gladly take any of these wines off your hands!
