  February 13, 2021 - Decent syrah. Strong fruit, slightly sweet, high alcohol. Heavy flavor, primarily from the fruit which is more intense than the tannins. The warm southern climate may explain it. It's pleasant to drink but it's not terribly interesting and appears to have been overhyped by reviewers and retailers. I prefer northern Rhone syrahs and better California syrahs. Not bad for $30, but not a steal either.
