  January 30, 2021 - Tasted over two days and I find this wine to have great depth and nice complexity although clearly still evolving. My first experience with this wine and it seemed tight upon opening with dark fruit, earth and tar, spice box being predominant flavors. Moderate tannins that do not dominate your tasting. By second day the fruit was more forward and its sweetness comes through and the presence of the Petite Sirah dominates the flavor profile. Thinking of other petite sirahs that I drink from Turley and Carlisle, they really do show their best qualities with age, however, this wine can be drunk younger with some breathing for decanting to help open it up. I would buy again without a doubt.
